Drawing the Urban - Symposium

The paper Looking for the Voids and Drawing the Liminal was a reflection on how the crafting of drawing served as a didactic tool not only to understand liminal sites but also to articulate an architecture of the “in-between” inspired by the liminal condition of the city. To this end, the work argued that the act of reading the city was not merely a passive approach, but rather an active process of constructing a narrative; in other words, reading through drawing was a way of acting.
