Hong Kong In-Between - Exhibitions
Hong Kong In-Between was a series of exhibitions that presented the research and spatial investigations developed through long-term observation of Hong Kong’s residual urban spaces. Through drawings, photographs, mappings, and installations, the exhibitions revealed how back lanes, interstices, and overlooked territories function as active social and spatial environments. Rather than focusing on the city’s iconic skyline, the work foregrounded everyday practices, informal economies, and modes of appropriation that shape these in-between spaces. By translating research into exhibition form, Hong Kong In-Between offered an alternative reading of the city rooted in proximity, use, and lived urban experience.
