STAG - Exhibitions

STAG exhibitions and public happenings extended beyond display to activate urban space through direct use. During Beijing Design Week, a STAG Storytelling event was held in the Dashilar hutongs. This public happening brought together storytellers in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, attracting artists, architects, and city thinkers. Using the portable STAG stools to anchor themselves within the historic alleyways, participants engaged in shared narratives and discussions on the appropriation of public space, temporarily transforming the hutongs into a collective platform for exchange and shifting participants from observers to active contributors.
